Special baby

Hi you all, we had a lovely walk along the beach at Aberdour today, did us all good, the dogs really loved rolling around in the sand. While on the sandy beach we were sheltered from the real chilly wind and the sun shone for a while making it great for a walk.  It is funny when the sun is out how friendly people are, it helps if you have a dog or two.

My post today was a kit I bought last October at the Hobbycraft show at the SECC, Glasgow.  It is from Scary Mary and I really enjoyed making it up.

Sorry the quality is poor but I am having problems with my PC and blogger so am having to use my IPad.  The decoration was mainly from my stash, ribbon teddies, some peel offs, and a cute wee baby in the cot was from Scary Mary.

I made this up as Mr Mojo left me and I need something to give me a kick start.

After over eating over Christmas and New Year I have returned to Slimming World to get back on track.  I enjoy our local club, great bunch of ladies and sometimes we have a male attending, just wish I did not like chocolate and cream.

Well that's it for tonight, we have a frosty night out there so I am glad to be curled up on the sofa with a cup of coffee, hubby took the dogs for their last walk, and they have settled down for the night, bliss.

Take care my friends.

  1. Wow! Wilma that is stunning, great project when you are waiting for your mojo deciding to return from his break. I saw Scary Mary kits at SECC did not buy any. Might have a better look when I am there in March.
This eating lark causes great problems.......I think I need a "zip" for my mouth
    Have a great weekend

  3. hi Wilma, fabulous keepsake, think I ought to invest in these templates, sure it must be easer than starting from scratch.
like Patricia I need a zip on my mouth.

  4. This is gorgeous Wilma, a beautiful keepsake. I blogged on my iPad though our holiday last year so I sympathise with you! It's bad enough just commenting, which I'm doing now! Carole Z x

  5. Stunning creation Wilma. I'm sure it will be treasured too. Hugs Rita xxx

  6. Wilma this is stunning and what a keep sake! I agree with you about the people and having dogs, stayed frosty all day in Dundee yesterday so the grand-daughters and I just stayed indoors and crafted. Hazel x

  7. What a fabulous keepsake. I toy with the idea when I see them at the shows, so one day I'm sure I will succumb!! Hugs |Christine xx

    1. Their stall was tucked away down the bottom, I downloaded a list of exhibitors before I went and had them marked as one to find. I do this every time I go as I would miss the stalls I want to see otherwise. They are my first port of call then I can browse the others.

  9. Hi Wilma,
Sorry not left a comment for a while, but I have been looking, lovely keepsake today.

  10. Just gorgeous Wilma, wonderful keepsake for mum and dad. I never think of making projects like this, maybe I'll branch out of my comfort zone, hugs Kate x

  11. Hi Wilma
For someone with a dodgy mojo, you are doing marvellously. This is super and will make a wonderful keepsake.
Unlike Patricia, I want a zip on my tummy, then I can eat what I like then empty the tum before it turns into fat.
    Best wishes
    Ang x

  12. Fantastic Wilma. I have never tried a kit - some people say that they are really fiddly = but this is great.

  13. Hi Wilma,
what a super creation. Love this one. As you know I too have made Scary Mary cake and box, and I do love them as you have all the elements provided for you no measuring or cutting to be done. I find this a bonus as I am rubbish at measuring and cutting.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  14. Just a stunning creation Wilma, gosh it sure makes a wonderful keepsake.

    Hugs Diane

  15. Oh Wilma I love this creation. Stunning work.
I'd hate to part with it.
