Teapot glittered

Hi, what a mixture of weather today. This morning when I took my dogs for their first walk of the day it was snowing, then raining then back to snow.  Did not last long though.  Lunch time walk sun shine but cold.

My niece, Megan, asked me to do a project for her friend's birthday and good luck in her new job.  She came up with the idea of glittering a teapot, her friend is a real tea jenny.  Well thinking cap on.  I decided as a teapot takes boiling water I would use WOW embossing powder and use a heat gun to set it. Luckily  Megan chose a red teapot and it was easy to apply the red embossing powder.  Love the way it turned out.

I was also asked to do a word cloud with words relating to the friend and just love it.

Have a few requests for cards which I am in the process of starting, wracking the old brain box for ideas.

Hope you are all well.

  3. Hi Wilma
Wow, these are amazing. The teapot is a triumph! Can I ask how you got the embossing powder all over? Was it dabbed with Versamark?
Don't recall seeing a word cloud before so that looks fab!
    Great to see you back.

    1. Hi Ang, I covered the teapot in Mod Podge and applied the glitter, used heat gun, did a couple of coats. WOW embossing powder is really sparkly. Word clouds are so easy to do and look amazing when framed x
