Snow has arrived

The snow forecast has arrived, not a lot, but enough to make life difficult.  The dogs love it, they run and shovel it with their noses and roll around.  Why is it when I want to go for a walk I get vacant stares but when there is snow on the ground they are raring to go.  I have had a lazy few days. I have been playing with the Tonic floral delight die set again and I was asked by my sister to make two New Born Girl cards.  Since I had none ready I went up to my craft desk full of inspiration and when I started to craft it disappeared.  I sat and played with paper and dies and got nowhere.  Eventually my brain tried a feeble attempt at moving in the right direction and I produced No 1, now for No 2.  No matter how hard I tried to pull a card together I failed.  I took the dogs for a walk and then sat down for No 2.  I finally succeeded but am not too happy with the results but my sister is and that's the main thing.

Here is No 1.

Ingredients

Pink Card from stash
Papers were from stash (I think the large one was from Hunkydory)
Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One
Spellbinders Persian Accents for Corners
Image from LOTV
Sentiment ribbon and pearls from stash

I will post the other one later (not very impressed with it).

I am enjoying the Create and Craft shows from CHA but have had to sit on my hands for the Spellbinder dies and embossing folders even though I really, really want them but I have spent enough over the last few months and have to use what I have before I buy any more.  The picture frame, from Spellbinders,  presented to Nigel last night using the shell embossing folder was amazing.  They have brought out some wonderful dies and folders this time.  There are some great presentations from other American Companies which look so interesting too.

Now I have broken the ice with the two cards I have struggled to make I hope I can finally get my act together and get a move on with my card making as I need to stock up.  Maybe the weather has a lot to do with the lack of motivation, if the sun came out for a while it might brighten up my mood.  Maybe it is just a kick up the backside I need, any volunteers?  HeeHee bet there are a few willing people out there.  Hubby was the first to volunteer but I gave him one of my looks and he backed off, he knows better.

Hope you are all well or getting better in some cases, and welcome to my new followers. I keep forgetting to thank you all but it is amazing that  I have so many followers and I just love looking at your wonderful creations, so in awe of some of the great cards and projects.  I feel so humble.

Take care ladies and wrap up warm in this weather.

Hugs all round

  10. Hi Wilma,
Such a cute image, it sits well in your lovely circles frame, you have nothing to worry about, it is lovely. Looking forward to number two, hee hee.
It has snowed here, but not much, stuck to the fields but all roads are clear.
Watched CHA, but I am determined not to buy anymore craft stuff till I go to Ally Pally in April, I cannot find enough time to craft at the moment, so I would only buy, then put them in the box with the rest I haven't used yet, even though I like them all, want them all, I am NOT having them AT ALL, hee hee.
Keep playing, keep warm, keep smiling.
