I have had a lazy day, well just a bit of shopping, visit from my sister with her great grandson, William, took the dogs for early morning walk and then at lunch time, so it's not been too lazy.
Here is the card.
Ingredients
A5 Card
Papers downloaded freebies from Jak Heath Designs www.jakheath.com
Spellbinders Floral ovals
Ribbon and Gems from stash
Sentiment from PC
Simple sweet and to the point. I suppose I should have added a flower or two but as it was being sent through the post I though I'd better not.
Jak Heath is on Create and Craft TV with Pick of the Week Shows they started on Friday afternoon.
I really need to get crafting again I have people asking for cards I must get my finger out. They all seem to want the ones I have made already but I like to try something new but I suppose I will have to keep my friends happy.
As usual I eagerly await your comments and hope to show something more adventurous tomorrow.
Take care.

Hi Wilma,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my 'Thankyou' cards, I felt it was the thing to do to thank the lovely carers for the wonderful job they do.
BTW my two doggies are Maltese.
Love your blog.
Cheers, Elaine
Lovely card ,I have just finished my last 2 Advent frames I think I found the numbers the hardest to do you need so many 1 & 2 `s I have done 5 now ,Now got to get on with some cards I did do cards in between doing advent frames >Melanie
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie, I took the easy way out and purchased sets of numbers from Christine because I wracked my brains trying to get them right. Sorry you could not attend Christine's class, I would love attend one but distance is a big problem. Keep going.

Ideal design for a thank you card Wilma. I think it's fine without any added embellishments. As you say especially for posting. You only need a knot in a piece of ribbon to need a large stamp! I'm probably more conscious of size since I work in the post office and people are always nipping my neck about prices lol!

Lovely card Wilma, pretty papers

That pretty printed ribbon really lifts the card and I do like your papers. xx Flora
ReplyDeleteThis card is great as it is, and with the cost of postage now we all have to think about changing our style a little if we have to post the card. It can be utilised for all sorts of occasions which makes it very versatile. Christine x
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Wilma, plain and simple can be used for so my occasions love your papers
