Disaster yesterday, I lost my die for cutting out the lids for my little boxes. Panic stations, everything was pulled out, dustbin emptied, hubby accused of putting it in a safe place. Then what did I see peeking out under some paper on my desk, yes, my die, how I missed it I will never know, but panic over. I have not been in such a state for a long time, had visions of having to purchase a new lot of dies. Luckily, no, now I have more money to spend at Hobbycraft show in Glasgow on Saturday.
Now this card was a freebie download from Jak Heath Designs, it was meant to be a Valentine card but I think it could cover many occasions.
Ingredients
Well just the page downloaded from Jak Heath Designs cut out
Topper and border mounted on red card
A few gems from stash and Wallah a card
Simple, quick and well just nice.
Hopefully my marathon is near an end, after my mishap yesterday my task tonight is to finally get them all completed even if like Jenny L (Cardsarus) I am up all night.
Just a quickie to let you all know I am still here and hopefully back to cardmaking soon.
Leave a comment as every one is read and I enjoy all you have to say.

Love the red and white Wilma, looks so fresh and clean! And haven't we all lost something just in that way!! I found the tassels I lost, but they would have been very cheap to replace. Your dies were another story altogether. Anyway, glad you found it. I saw your famous mention!!! Good for you. Love from Christine x

This is gorgeous Wilma. I love red and white cards. They look so fresh.
ReplyDeleteI've lost one of my oval nesties. It's been lost for ages and I've always managed without it so I'm reluctant to replace the set since I could get something else instead.
Congrats on the mention on Christine Emberson's blog. Your advent frame is really fantastic.
Have you seen the 10% off voucher over at Craftwork Cards to be used at Glasgow?
Kat xx

Hi Wilma, beautiful card, lovely colours. I miss placed a die once, did find it after days searching, under the magnetic sheet I store mine on,since then I have a small magnetic sheet on the table, as soon as I use a die it goes on there, till I have finished cutting.

Hi Wilma,
ReplyDeletefantastic red and white card. Love those papers. See I'm still up again. It's been a mad week for me or is it I'm just slowing down too much. I'm off to Wales on the weekend to visit my Dad and sisters. So you know all the last minute things that have to be done, beside my crafting.
I have never lost a die as yet, but I did loose a piece of a decoupage once couldn't fine it anywhere. Then the next day I found
it glued to the sole of my slipper. Needless to say that is the first place I look now.
Lots of crafty love . Jenny L.
Very pretty card, Wilma! Love the cute image and the beautiful flower! Hugs
