Oh it must be close to Christmas

It's so lovely reading all your comments and seeing all the beautiful cards posted on your Blogs.  The book posted by Christine today was really wonderful and the rose Patricia made for the top of her box was so real looking I felt you could touch the raindrop on it's petals. Oh there are so many people to congratulate for posting their gorgeous creations that it would take up all my crafting time.

Boy am I glad I don't live in a flood plain, it would be horrifying to find your house full of dirty foul water.  I feel for the people affected by this weather. It has rained non stop today, I expect most of you have had the same, and hope it will let up soon.  Me and the dogs have been soaked twice today, they refused to go far at lunchtime, a quick wee and in, which suited me fine.

My card today is another Christmas one

  1. Good evening Wilma, Well you can hardly call it good, the standing water on the roads home tonight was terrible. Any way enough of that love your card, full of festive cheer. Hazel.

  2. I too give thanks to the gods that we are not in flood zone, it must be so awful for these poor folk who are. So much lost.

Your card tonight is lovely. This stamp is gorgeous and what a great job you've made with the colouring in. I love it, Kate x

    1. Hi Kate, I cannot take the compliment on stamping and colouring the image, they are die cuts already finished, cheats way out but I am useless at stamping and colouring, need more practice.

  3. Gorgeous card Wilma. Love how you've cut out the image and the poinsettias are lovely.

Know what you mean about rain and dogs. The rain wasn't too bad at 7am but it was really windy. Funny the dogs weren't in front of me where they usually are. Wet and nasty at 5pm though and really dark. Glad I wasn't out during the afternoon when it was torrential.

I'd hate water in the house it must be really horrible. My daughter lives at Crieff but luckily high up towards the Hydro. Must be horrible for the poor people at Comrie.

  7. Good Morning Wilma,
A lovely Christmas card, the layout is lovely, the backing paper is great. Really festive, love it.
Will have to buckle down the hatches, more bad weather in store, I feel for all the people who have their homes ruined by water, it's just terrible.
Try and have a good day.

  9. Hi Wilma, a great card. I just love these backing papers ( I've used them a lot so I guess you know that). I love your poinsettias. I have the Marianne ones which are not quite as nice I don't think. Have a good day. Christine x
